I’ve been sick with the flu for 2 weeks. That first week I could hardly stand on my feet and then that second week I wanted it to be over with and just get back to business as usual, but this flu was just dragging along. I couldn’t even draw for several days in a row – my hands and eyes just didn’t want to work together! When I finally could hold a pen and control my lines, I made this infographic (information and graphics combined) about the flu, inspired by Sabine Wisman’s klass in the Sketchbook Skool Kourse ‘Expressing’.

Feeling a little better, sitting up and walking around again, and liking the idea of making infographics I took this sketchbook spread below, that I made a couple of weeks ago:

… and created a neater version: an oblong sized infographic. I then submitted it to www.theydrawandcook.com. Each time an illustrated recipe or foodie-related illustration gets published there, it feels like such a treat!

By the way – I feel a lot better now, although my energy levels are low and I still can’t stand the taste of… coffee!
